  Whilst Mr Rattigan Im sure at one stage was an accomplished lawyer, in my opinion, he is no more, come out of retirement from what I was told, his only interest is solely for the money, he came recommended from a friend who used his services for advice only, for his divorce. I used his full services for mine. I found their office to be extremely disorganised after taking $12000.00 to prepare my case and couldn't find anything at the mediators, when asked by the mediator for a statement the pair of them left me to rummage through my things along with giving me advice to settle, had I not followed my gut instinct It would have set me back almost $100 k.
  Mr Rattigan Quoted me $3000 up to $80k if we go to the end and when he took $30 k he then said it will take another $100k After telling me we had a good case. He just have the lion in him he led me to believe on our initial interview.
  
  His secretary I found to be extremely rude and boarder line incompetent. They just don't care about their clients even tho Mr Rattigan is approaching his 70's he was still agressive enough to yell and scream at me in his office to the point I had to tell him to get out of his boardroom, he later apologised but I should have fired him right there and then, when I queried his last bill he immediately took a caveat out on my property.
  
  His right hand assistant Lilly Johanson comes across as professional and knowing her stuff but in the end all bark. She will no doubt run her own business one day but I fear her mentor would have taught her what so many people hate about lawyers take take take. They will respond to your emails in 3 to 4 days regardless of how stressed or urgent you think the matter is they will not assit in settling your nerves and charge you for every email you write to them asking for an answer. Unless you fire them then you get a response with in hours.
  
  I gave two stars because he did have an impression in the court room, the judge seem to respect him, if only they knew what had become of him. I expected the bill I never had a problem with his extravagant pricing because he convinced me he could win, my bad. I'm $30k in the hole and in search of new council.
